Create study sets that students can use to learn just about anything - from vocabulary lists to content concepts. Students can study flashcards, take practice tests, compete in learning games, and your class can review in an interactive competition with the Quizlet Live feature. There are tons of existing study sets that you can copy, then adjust the items or definitions. A new feature allows you to create - or access existing - interactive diagrams (useful for everything from geography to anatomy, and more). If you upgrade to Quizlet Teacher, you can track student progress by having students join your class.
You can create a basic account for free to create study sets and play Quizlet Live. If you want additional pro features, including the ability to create and organize classes that allow you to see individual student progress on study sets, you can upgrade to the paid Quizlet Teacher subscription (at last check, it was $34.99 per year).
If you have the Quizlet Teacher (pro) account and you want student to join your class, make sure students have created a free Quizlet account. Then have them search for your class name inside Quizlet (they can change the Search function to focus on "classes"). When they locate your class, students can request to join your class. To approve their requests, log in to Quizlet and click on the class period. You can then approve each individual request to join. We've also enjoyed playing this as "Seven" or "Eight" instead. All the students stop after 7 or 8 answers, whichever you designate, and then they wait for your "Go!" signal for the mad dash sprint to the finish. Just as with "Eleven," this allows some teams more time to catch up and master the vocabulary before another team wins.
